Here are some helpful reminders about what to do and not do before you come in:

  • Do not eat or drink (a few sips of water with medications ok) after midnight or as directed by your cardiologist.
  • Discuss medications and any other issues with your doctor prior to the procedure. Adjustments may be made to your prescribed medication schedule.
  • Bring your medication list with you to the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
  • Arrive on time; a family member or friend may accompany you.
  • Do not bring any valuables or jewelry.
  • Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
