Here are some helpful reminders about what to do (and not do) before you come in:
- Do not eat or drink (a few sips of water with medications ok) after midnight or as directed by your cardiologist.
- Discuss medications and any other issues with your doctor prior to the procedure. Adjustments may be made to your prescribed medication schedule.
- Bring your medication list with you to the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
- Arrive on time; a family member or friend may accompany you.
- Do not bring any valuables or jewelry.
- Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes.

- Angioplasty
- Arrhythmia
- Catheterization
- Cardiac Rehabilitation
- Cardiac Surgery
- Cardiac Testing
- Diabetes
Procedures for which no referral is needed:
- Heart Failure Clinic
- Cardiac Risk Reduction
- Smoking Cessation
- Diabetes Management
- Cardiac Support Groups
- Cardiac Education
