THANK YOU! What a day! Despite the inclement weather, friends, families and co-workers all came together today to celebrate the 19th Annual NSMC Cancer WALK on Sunday, June 21. More than 3000 of you were out in force at Salen Willows. If you were not able join us, we missed you, but knew that you were with us in spirit.

We continue to be astounded and humbled by what you do to ensure that state-of-the-art cancer treatment and programs continue to be available at the
Mass General/North Shore Cancer Center in Danvers We are still collecting donations, and all
Walker fundraising pages will be open until August 31. Also, don’t forget about matching gifts – your company match can double or even triple your individual donation.
With the opening of the new Mass General/North Shore Cancer Center comes an opportunity to recognize and honor a loved one.
Stone tiles will be installed in the healing garden outside of the Cancer Center. Situated near protected wetlands and overlooking Waters River, the healing garden is visible from the glass-walled infusion bays and open to all visitors for strolling and quiet meditation.
Personalized stone tiles are available to those who have raised contributions to the WALK between 2008 and 2010 according to the following criteria:
Individual walkers and/or donors -- $3,000 total or $1,000 a year
WALK teams -- $15,000 total or $5,000 a year
Corporate sponsors -- $15,000 total or $5,000 a year
