Friends of NSMC connected at a recent 1874 Society Speaker Series.
 
The February 13, 2008 presentation was titled "A Little Back Talk: New Advances in Back Pain Management,"  and was given by Terrence P. Doorly, MD, FRCSI, FRCSC, FACS.

Dr. Doorly is pictured opposite, with his colleague Dr. Meghana Karande, both of North Shore Physicians Group Neurosurgery and Spine.

The Morton and Lillian Waldfogel Charitable Foundation donated $1 million dollars to fund state-of-the-art Breast Imaging at the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Surgery.
