NSMC Salem Hospital




Cafeteria

The cafeteria is located on the second floor of the Davenport building. It is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Coffee, beverages, prepared sandwiches and salads, and snacks are available all day.

Vending machines for snacks and beverages are located in the cafeteria, behind the main serving area. They are also found on the ground floor of Mass General for Children at North Shore Medical Center and in the Emergency Department's waiting area.


ATM

An Eastern Bank ATM is located in the connector hallway just outside the cafeteria. The entrance to the connector hallway is in between the elevators and the stairwell.

Gift Shop

The Gull Gift Shop is located on the sixth floor of the Axelrod building and is open and staffed by volunteers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; Saturday 10 a.m, to 12:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 12:30 to 4 p.m.

Newspapers/Magazines

Newspaper boxes are located near the entrances to Davenport 1, the Emergency Room, and NSMC North Shore Children’s Hospital; and in the hallway connecting Davenport 2 to Shaughnessy-Kaplan Rehabilitation Hospital. Magazines be purchased in the Gull gift shop on Axelrod 6.

We also deliver flowers and balloons and both regular mail and email cards.

Cafeteria


The cafeteria is located on East Ground. It is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Coffee, beverages, prepared sandwiches and salads, and snacks are available all day.

Vending machines for snacks and beverages are located in the cafeteria.

An Eastern Bank ATM is located near the main lobby on East One.


Gift Shop

The Pine Gift Shop is located on East One. It is staffed by volunteers from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Newspapers/Magazines

Newspapers can be purchased at the Pine Gift Shop on East One. 

Room services

Patient Room Service includes visitor service and hair care service, as well as delivery of newspapers, magazines, books and gift shop purchases. Dial 3215 during regular business hours.

We also deliver flowers and balloons and both regular mail and email cards.  Our campus features beautiful Healing Gardens which patients, families, visitors and caregivers may enjoy.
