NSMC pastoral services include visits with patients and families, sacramental care, pastoral counseling, and prayer.

Jane Korins is the Director of Pastoral Care for North Shore Medical Center.

Her staff includes a Catholic priest, a Chaplain, and a volunteer staff of Eucharistic ministers, clergy and lay people who visit patients. There are also Clinical Pastoral Education students assigned to the patient floors.

Lorraine Bunker is the Chaplain at NSMC Union Hospital. She is the primary contact person at NSMC Union Hospital.

Chapel locations

The NSMC Salem Hospital chapel is located on Davenport 6, near the elevators. The chapel is always open.

The NSMC Union Hospital chapel is located off the South Ground corridor at NSMC Union Hospital, next to the Chaplain’s office. The chapel is always open.
