NSMC's 170 board-certified surgeons perform more than 17,000 surgical procedures every year, making NSMC the leading surgical center on the North Shore. We offer specialized surgical expertise in multiple disciplines as well as state-of-the-art equipment.

NSMC will shortly break ground in Danvers, MA on a 122,000 square-foot outpatient facility. The new ambulatory care center will offer more sophisticated services than any existing or proposed outpatient facility in the region, providing the latest in cardiac diagnostics, suites for minimally invasive surgery, and advanced imaging services.  It will also serve as the expanded home of the new MGH and NSMC Cancer Center, a collaborative oncology program with Massachusetts General Hospital and Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare.
