Application Process
All Applications must come through the Electronic Residency Application Service.
All applications must contain the following:
- CV
- Dean’s Letter
- Medical School Transcripts
- Three (3) letters of recommendation from physicians who have supervised you in a clinical setting
- U.S.M.L.E. transcript
Foreign Medical Graduates must also meet the following conditions:
- You must be ECFMG certified (it is preferable that you are certified by the time you apply, but definitely no later than December 31st)
- You must have a U.S.M.L.E. Score of 190 or above on Step One and Step Two
- We prefer that you have some U.S. clinical experience
NSMC does NOT require that you have graduated from medical school within a specific time frame. We will help you in obtaining both J1 and H1B visas. If you hope to obtain an H1B visa, we must receive notification of your passing U.S.M.L.E. Step 3 no later than December 31st.
