Our multidisciplinary Breast Clinic is designed for patients who are newly diagnosed with breast cancer and/or seeking a second opinion. The clinic is comprised of physicians expert in every area of breast cancer care and treatment. This comprehensive approach offers patients the opportunity to be seen and examined by a medical oncologist and radiation oncologist all in the same afternoon. The clinic meets in our newly renovated medical offices in Peabody. The NSMC Cancer Center is affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and Dana-Farber/Partners Cancer Care.

The pathologist, radiologist, surgeon, medical oncologist and radiation oncologist on the team review the patient’s case after the examinations are concluded. Patients receive an opinion from each clinician, as well as a consensus recommendation by the panel. NSMC Cancer Center can also help you coordinate care, as needed.
