Hematology services at the Mass General/North Shore Cancer Center are quite extensive, including outpatient care as well as supportive consultative visits to inpatients at NSMC Salem and NSMC Union hospitals.
Our consultative services run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Several new physicians trained in hematology have recently joined our staff, thereby expanding our expertise in this critical area of cancer care.
Blood disorders we treat include anemias, congenital and acquired bleeding disorders (hemostasis), certain immune disorders and related diseases.
Hematologic malignancies we treat include acute and chronic leukemia, Hodgkin’s disease, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, myeloma and related malignant disorders.
