A cancer diagnosis often carries difficult psychological and social consequences. The NSMC Cancer Center has a full-time social worker to help patients cope with stress, altered family relationships, and the risks to employment and finances. We offer an interdisciplinary team to enhance communication among professionals, patients, and families.
