Heart

Our Cardiac Risk Reduction program is for anyone who has multiple risks for heart disease; it's also for people who already have heart disease and want to prevent further problems. These risk factors include high blood pressure (hypertension), high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia), diabetes (Type 1 or 2), obesity and smoking.

Changing one’s behavior can be a difficult and complex process; most patients need a strong support system to be successful. Our staff includes cardiologists, cardiovascular nurse clinicians, nutritionists, exercise specialists, and consulting psychologists. We also have a certified tobacco treatment specialist on staff, as well as two certified diabetic educators.
