Our Neurodevelopmental Center provides comprehensive assessments and follow-up services for infants through adults. Our patients come to us because they are experiencing learning, developmental, emotional or behavioral difficulties.
Our areas of expertise include
learning problems, dyslexia, mathematics disability, written language disability, non-verbal learning disability, attention and organizational disorders (ADD, ADHD), autism, pervasive developmental delay, Asperger's syndrome, mental retardation, brain trauma and behavioral and /or emotional problems.
We provide comprehensive neuro-psychological assessments to measure intellectual functioning, executive skills, attention, verbal skills, visual-spatial and motor skills, academic skills and social-emotional functioning.
In addition, we provide:
- ADD/ADHD evaluations
- Psycho-educational assessments
- Psychological testing
- School and professional consultation
- Family and individual therapy for children and adolescents with ADD or LD
- Social skills groups
Referrals can be made by parents, physicians, schools or other professionals. Authorization for testing is obtained by the Neurodevelopment Center, at which time an appointment will be scheduled.
