Our Breast Health program encourages women to proactively screen for early indicators of potential breast cancer, including changes to the size and shape of their breasts, discharge or tenderness, sore spots or changes in the way the skin on their breasts feels.

We offer mammogram screenings at three of our facilities, including free screening services to low income women. We also provide many other risk assessments.

If you do receive a diagnosis of breast cancer, we have a dedicated breast surgeon who provides sentinel node biopsies (a minimally invasive technique to diagnose breast cancer.) The NSMC Cancer Center is affiliated with Dana-Farber/Partners Cancer Care and Massachusetts General Cancer Care.
